eForum Terms of Use eForum, eRoom’s online forum, is intended to help eForum users obtain trading and investment related information through professional and courteous discussions. These Terms of Use govern eForum and its users’ conduct, and are in addition to the Terms and Conditions that apply to eRoom’s website generally. eRoom may, in its sole discretion, change these Terms of Use at any time, and changed Terms of Use are posted on eRoom’s website. Users who access eForum accept these Terms of Use, and by their use, agree to comply with these Terms of Use. eRoom may terminate any persons registration and access to eForum at any time and take additional action against users who violate these Terms of Use.
Registered Users
Users are permitted to maintain only one active eForum registration at all times. Users must be at least 18 years of age to register with, access and use Forum. Any and all information that users supply to Eroom, including in the eForum registration process, must be current, truthful and complete. Users must maintain and update information as necessary so that it remains current, truthful and complete.
As part of the registration process, users select a name and password to access eForum. User names may not be fictitious or an impersonation of someone else and may not cause confusion with other users of eForum.
The individual registered user is the only person Eroom authorizes to access and use eForum under the registration information provided to Eroom. Users may not provide or make known their user name, password, or other identifying information to any other person for the purpose of facilitating such person’s access or unauthorized use of eForum.
The individual registered user is responsible for all messages posted, blogs, statements made, or acts or omissions that occur within eForum through the use of his or her user name and password. Users who believe someone else has used their name, password or other identifying information should contact eRoom immediately.
eForum Conduct Guidelines
Information is posted within eForum by registered users. Posting on eForum must be done in a lawful and civil manner. Users will not use eForum for an illegal purpose or to transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. The following describes additional conduct that is prohibited on eForum.
- Users shall not post information that they are prohibited by law from transmitting. Users shall not post material, non-public information (i.e., inside information) about companies. Users shall not post information to manipulate, or attempt to manipulate the market for any security. Users shall not post information which contains third party copyright material. Users shall not post information that they are prohibited from transmitting by contractual or fiduciary duties (e.g., nondisclosure agreement terms). Confidential, proprietary, or trade secret information may not be posted on eForum.
- eForum shall not be used for promotional or advertising purposes. eForum prohibits the posting of any unsolicited advertising, promotional or marketing materials, sales information, or other forms of solicitation. eForum information shall not be used to transmit junk mail, spam, unsolicited mass distribution of emails.
- eForum prohibits threatening or harassing any other individual or entity, particularly any eForum user. eForum prohibits the posting of sexually explicit content.
- eForum prohibits the posting of knowingly false or misleading statements. eForum prohibits users from impersonating any other person or entity, or any false statement of affiliation with any person or entity.
- Offers to buy or sell any security are prohibited.
No Expectation of Privacy
Information posted in eForum is not confidential. Users have no expectation of privacy with respect to such information.
Additional Information About Postings
Information in eForum is not necessarily complete or timely. Information and discussion also may contain opinions. News, market data, and other information discussed within eForum is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or timely. eForum information is inherently subject to change without notice and may become outdated.
Generally the information in eForum is not pre-reviewed, screened, or edited. eRoom does not have any obligation, but reserves the right, to pre-review, review, screen, edit, delete and monitor the information posted on eForum.
Any information, commentary, recommendations, advice, investment ideas, or materials provided to eForum, is not the view of, or attributable to eRoom. eRoom personnel generally are not providing postings to eForum. Information in eForum may not be copied, republished, redistributed, transmitted, altered, edited, or exploited in any manner for any purpose, without the express written permission of eRoom, except that eForum users are granted the right to download and print eForum information for their personal use only.
